So this is my roboarm in progress. Right now I have three completed fingers, and one pinkie in progress. Each joint is moveable (the middle finger less so, for an obvious reason) and there is a pad on the base so I can type on a computer. They are kind of bulky for a keyboard so my typing is slow, but curiously enough 8’s are easier to get than ‘b’s.
The fingers are made of heat-moulded foam and bristol board backing, for support. They are kept together with drops of hot glue and fabric on the inner end, which lets me flex and bend each finger.
I’m hoping to add holes on the side for ventilation, but that’s for later.
